Daventry UTC students helped their neighbours today - pupils from Falconer's Hill Academy - with organising elections for their School Council.
Volunteers from the UTC gave a helping hand preparing the polling stations. As students from Falconer's Hill Academy arrived at the UTC in organised groups, their names were checked against the register; then the pupils made their way to designated polling booths to cast their votes.
It was a great opportunity to give the students an insight into how elections work, how to behave in a polling station and to show that every vote matters.
We wish good luck to all the candidates as the results will be announced tomorrow.
