We aim to provide you with the best employability prospects possible, which is why we have developed three unique Apprenticeship Routes.  As a Post 16 student you are able to get educational and vocational qualification as well as the experience which an apprenticeship would provide in addition to obtaining a range of additional qualifications.

Discover more about our fantastic first-ever A-level results. All students have progressed to Universities, Apprenticeships and Employment!

How do we make this possible?

Whilst studying at Daventry UTC, our students have the opportunity to work alongside a number of our Industry Partners; who also help us shape our up-to-date curriculum.

What are the employability benefits?

By the end of year 12, our students will have many opportunities to work with our Industry Partners, who are constantly scouting for talent and will be competing with each other to employ our students.

Thinking of going to a university?

The University of Northampton is one of our UTC's sponsors and this partnership allows us to provide our students with a link between the UTC and The University, should they decide to embark upon pursuing a degree. The University is working with local industry to provide a smooth transition between an Advanced Apprenticeship and a Higher Level Apprenticeship where you study an HND or a Foundation Degree through your employer.

The behaviour of students in the sixth form is good and they have positive attitudes towards learning. Sixth form students are respectful to themselves and others. These students have a good understanding of the impact good behaviour has on their ability to make progress, they are positive about their teachers, and relationships in the classroom are good.< (Ofsted, 2015)
